We must apologize for how long it has been while the Developers work on trying to fix the mailing issue with the return of the items. In light of this we are going to go at this with a different angle. We are going to go ahead and do the [Penance Ticket], but instead of 100 we have raised it to 150. To view what you can get with these tickets see the information for Delinquent Sephiroth's inventory in the last update below.

[UPDATE] June 21, 2011

Over the past few days, a lot of progress has been made. We are having to re-write the Mailing System to handle the large load of mails (Orphaned Items and the Vouchers) to send them without completely lagging and bogging down the server. Thankfully, that progress has put us near to the finish, and optimistically won't take much longer. However, as proven in the past, we give a specific timeframe and something happens to change that, so I won't jinx it by saying it here. ;)

Once the mailing system is complete, Delinquent Sephiroth will be installed. He has three places to stand in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. If you wish to see his inventory, Look below! Also, once the mailing system is complete, the items and vouchers will be mailed.

Just to clarify as well: The current mailing system IS on. However, it is not the New mailing system. ;) Watch the announcements and this Article for more information and confirmation for when it is finished. <3

As you all are tired I'm sure of being asked to wait longer and longer, here is a bit of a teaser for the vendor. Remember that [Penance Ticket] will be the currency to use with him, and at the moment, everyone is being mailed 100. Use this wisely to get the points, honor, marks and emblems that you need so that you can plan properly for multiple pieces of gear from the Tier or Season vendors in Dalaran.

• 1,000 Arena Points for 10x [Penance Ticket]
• 1 [Wintergrasp Commendation] for 2x [Penance Ticket]
• 20x [Emblem of Frost] for 10x [Penance Ticket] (Max 5)
• 20x [Emblem of Triumph] for 10x [Penance Ticket] (Max 5)
• 1 [Conqueror's Mark of Sanctification] for 20x [Penance Ticket] (Max 5)
• 1 [Protector's Mark of Sanctification] for 20x [Penance Ticket] (Max 5)
• 1 [Vanquisher's Mark of Sanctification] for 20x [Penance Ticket] (Max 5)

Any of these that have a 'Max' on them, such as 'Max 5', that means you can do that particular one a total of 5 Times. For instance, the [Emblem of Frost] can only be done (Max 5). Which means in total, you can get 100 Emblems, and still have 50 [Penance Ticket] left over. Keep this in mind when calculating what you are going to get!

First off, we have to apologize that it has taken so long with the new mailing system. Unfortunately to do what we need to do, it had to be re-written. This has taken longer that we anticipated. However, in the time since the last update, we have made quite a bit of progress, but there is still an aspect or two that still needs to be worked on by the Developers. We are hoping that it will be done quickly, but we ask for patience while they work on this.

Keep an eye on the In-Game announcements as well as this article, as we will post updates as we have new information on the new mailing system. As a reminder, the Vendor will not be installed, and the item mails and vouchers will not be sent until this new mailing system is completed.

[UPDATE] June 18th, 2011

As an Update to everyone, the Developers are still working on the new mailing system to handle the mass mailing that we have to accomplish. Thankfully, we have made quite a lot of headway with this, and we hope to have it working sometime on Sunday, June 19th. Keep in mind that once we make these changes, if the tests run successfully, then we will be able to mail the orphaned items out as well as [Penance Ticket] as promised to use in the Vendor. The Vendor will be spawned in Orgrimmar and Stormwind as mentioned above when we have the mailing system functional. If we encounter problems with this and we cannot move forward as planned, or if there are any delays, we will post another update.

During a recent database maintenance session, an error occurred on one of the tables. This unfortunately resulted in the loss of recently acquired items which were either equipped on characters, in bags, or in personal banks. Guild banks, etc remained intact. Some items were mailed; however, not all could be covered. We do, however, have something in store for everyone as our apology for the extended downtime as well:

In the next 24 hours, we will introduce a vendor as a means to assist in returning some of the lost gear due to this incident. Everyone will receive 100 [Penance Ticket] to use for this vendor. You will be able to receive Arena Points and/or Honor Points, as well as some Emblems and Marks at varying prices to aid in restoration. You will be able to find Delinquent Sephiroth <Penance Vendor> in both Stormwind and Orgrimmar for one week.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your unwavering support.
