I’m considering upgrading my kitchen and have my eye on grey shaker cabinets. What are the benefits of choosing grey shaker cabinets compared to other colors? I’m particularly interested in how they pair with different countertops and backsplashes. 
Also, any tips on maintenance and durability would be appreciated. Has anyone experienced any challenges with this color, like fading or stains? I’m aiming for a modern yet timeless look, so your experiences and suggestions would help.
