Hello everyone.
I’m currently considering upgrading the insulation in my home and wanted to get some input on the best options available. My main goal is to improve energy efficiency while also reducing noise. 
I’ve heard of fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, and rigid foam boards, but I’m unsure which would be the most effective and cost-efficient in the long run. I’m especially interested in understanding how different insulation materials contribute to insulation and energy savings. 
Additionally, are there any environmental benefits or drawbacks to each option? Any advice on installation methods or potential pitfalls would be greatly appreciated.
