If your Epson printer is not connecting to a wireless network, follow these steps to resolve the issue. First, ensure your Wi-Fi router is turned on and working properly. Restart both your printer and router to refresh the connection. Place the printer close to the router to avoid weak signal issues.
Check Printer Wi-Fi Settings
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Wi-Fi Setup or Network Settings.
- Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard and choose your network (SSID) from the list.
- Enter the correct Wi-Fi password carefully, as incorrect credentials can cause connection failures.
- Once connected, print a network status report to confirm successful setup.
Use WPS (If Supported)
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- On the printer, select Wi-Fi Setup > WPS (Push Button Method) and press OK.
- The printer should automatically connect to the network.
Update Firmware & Drivers
- Outdated printer firmware can cause Wi-Fi issues. Check for updates from Epson’s official website.
- If you previously connected the printer to a different network, reset the network settings and reconnect.
Check Router Settings
- Ensure MAC address filtering or firewall settings are not blocking the printer.
- Use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, as some Epson printers do not support 5GHz networks.
If the issue persists, restart all devices, reinstall the Epson printer software, and try again. If none of these steps work, contact Epson support for further assistance.
